FAQs

Do I need any experience to start?

1

None at all. Our Intro to Wing Chun Bootcamp is built specifically for beginners with no martial arts background. We start from the fundamentals and progress step by step.

I'm not very athletic. Can I still train?

2

Absolutely. Wing Chun was designed to work regardless of size, strength, or athletic ability. The system relies on structure, positioning, and timing—not physical power. We have students of all fitness levels, ages, and body types.

What happens in my first class?

3

You'll learn basic Wing Chun structure, footwork, and striking techniques alongside other bootcamp students. Our Sifus provide hands-on instruction throughout the class. Wear a white shirt and black pants, and bring water and a towel.

How much does it cost?

4

Your first intro class is $25. The full 12-week Intro to Wing Chun Bootcamp is $441. No contracts, no hidden fees.

What are the class times?

5

Bootcamp classes meet Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30 PM and Saturdays from 8:00-9:35 AM. You can attend either or both.

Is Wing Chun effective for self-defense?

6

Wing Chun is one of the most practical martial arts for real-world self-defense. It teaches you to use an attacker's force against them through redirection and efficient striking, rather than trying to out-muscle them. It was originally developed by a woman specifically because it doesn't depend on physical size or strength.

What's the difference between the $25 intro and the full bootcamp?

7

The $25 covers your first class so you can experience Wing Chun training before committing. If it's a good fit, you enroll in the full 12-week bootcamp ($441) which takes you through the complete foundational curriculum including the Siu Lim Tao form.
